Português Arabic has over 300 million native speakers and is understood by over 1.3 billion people around the world. It is a challenging language, but our patient and dynamic teachers will guide you through the difficulties and toward success!
Hansa offers two levels of group Arabic classes. These programs focus on Modern Standard Arabic (Fus-ha). Some of the curricula may be modified at the instructor's discretion.
Arabic Level 1
This course uses Read & Speak Arabic For Beginners (by Jane Wightwick & Mahmoud Gaafar) and includes the following topics: the alphabet, pronunciation, greetings, days of the week, nationalities, masculine and feminine nouns, ordering food and drinks, describing location, asking for and giving directions, talking about family members, numbers, and talking about jobs.
Arabic Level 2
The Level 2 Arabic course reviews the material covered in Hansa's Level 1 course. Students then use al-Kitab al-asasi (by El-Said Badawi). Students develop their listening, speaking and reading skills while learning more vocabulary and grammatical structures.
Payment and registration must be received before the registration deadline. Materials are included within the course tuition.

The six-week program is held on Tuesday and Thursday or Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at our 2160 Yonge Street location.
