There are nearly 80 million Korean language speakers in the world and over 35,000 in Toronto. Studying Korean provides valuable business opportunities in Asia's third largest economy, as well as with international Korean companies such as Samsung, LG, Hyundai, and Kia. One of the best things about learning Korean is the writing system, hangul. You can learn to read this alphabet very quickly, and since words are written phonetically, you'll soon be able to pronounce every Korean word you see.
